About Me

Hi, I'm Fiona Brown I have a background in technology of which over 10 years were spent working with Oracle Financials and Projects, including roles in consulting, development and support. I have worked for a number of large consulting firms these include Oracle, Price Waterhouse and Accenture. I have written oracle extensions, user interfaces and triggers using Oracle PL/SQL and also have experience of performance tuning and system testing. Implementing system to large corporations has given me valuable experience of how to talk techie with just about any one. Even those who fear technology!

Most of my spare time is spent looking after and having fun with my family. Often I get my camera out as I am a keen amateur photographer. If it is to dark for the camera you will probably find me watching either The Apprentice or Dragons Dens, or reading a book relating to entrepreneurship, management theories or technology. I have been a guest on BBC Three Counties Radio with Ernie Almond on a number of occasions. I was invited as a guest to give my opinion on current news and local stories as both web designer/blogger and mother. Using Google Reader I read the on-line technology news and several blogs on the internet and web marketing techniques on a near daily basis.

This web site approaches topics such as internet strategy, technology news, business networking and many other areas of my own personal interest. The purpose of this web site is to share some of the business and technology knowledge that I have accumulated over time.
